Hi Mom-Mom,
December was magical. We went hunting for the perfect tree. A couple days later it snowed for the first time this season. I was a drummer boy in my preschool Christmas program. I got Christmas lights and a mini tree for my bedroom which I decorated with the animal ornaments Aunt Bonnie gave me last year. I checked the chimney to make sure it was all clear for Santa, who stopped by on Christmas Eve with some presents. He brought me cool super hero undies! Anna and Dax spent the night on New Years Eve. We had dinner together and ended the evening with a big bubble bath.

Hi Mom-Mom,
We went to visit Santa today! We waited in line forever until it was finally our turn. I asked Santa for trains this year and got my picture taken with him. It's fun to look back at our pictures over the years. Santa looked like he lost some weight! He must have cut back on his Christmas cookie intake. 

Snow Day

Hi Mom-Mom,
It snowed all day today! Dad worked from home, we went sledding, played in the snow and built a snow man. We made a fire, baked cookies and drank hot chocolate with marshmallows. We'll take as many snow days as we can get.

Hi Mom-Mom,
November was jam packed with fun. We celebrated my third birthday. Mom made cupcakes to take to school to enjoy with my classmates and Grammy made me the most amazing digger cake. Henry came to visit for ten days. Dad took off of work and we had a stay-cation. We celebrated Thanksgiving together and had a blast!

Hi Mom-Mom,
Every year, dad and Matt head up to Doyles Tree Farm in White Hall where there are hundreds of douglas fir trees and it smells like Christmas. This year I was big enough to go to! I grabbed my saw and headed out with them to find the perfect Christmas tree. We cut down our tree, hauled it back to Matt's truck and took it home to decorate.

Today we found out that our baby is a brother! We stuffed a turkey with color-appropriate candy and will break the good news to our family after Thanksgiving dinner tomorrow. Until then, my lips are sealed. I'm thankful for my brother and can't wait to meet him. Here are some of his very first pictures.
