Hi Mom-Mom,
We had fun celebrating the 4th of July with our families. I found a big dead beetle at the park and carried him home in my pocket to show Mama. Finnie spent two weeks with us! We hosted Jessy and Anna's pool party. I spent some quality one-on-one time with an excavator we found parked at Lutherville Lab. I got some cool new socks and insisted on wearing them pulled all the way up. Dad turned 39!

Grammy and Poppy invited us over to celebrate Dad's birthday. Grammy's Garden 
is in full bloom and looked as beautiful as ever. They went all out and made us the most delicious dinner, followed by strawberry shortcake for dessert. Thanks for such a wonderful evening.

Hi Mom-Mom,
We've been spending these hot summer nights by the pool, trying to stay cool. I swim all by myself now! I give an enthusiastic, "Weady! Set! GO!" whenever Dad and Mom jump in. We go on bug expeditions in between swimming and lounging around. We find the coolest bugs in our skimmer traps.
