Hi Mom-Mom,
Dad and I made mom breakfast in bed for Mom on Mother's Day and bought her some pretty flowers. We're getting use to life with Rory. He's a little rock star... he sleeps all day and parties all night! We went on vacation to Massanutten Virginia with my cousins and had so much fun. We're glad we made it home in time to say good bye to Pop-Pop. We will miss him so much.

Hi Mom-Mom,
Today I sat next to you on Grammy's lap for Pop-Pop's Military Funeral Honors. We huddled under a tent as it rained gently and I watched in awe as the honor detail folded and presented you with the American flag. We sat still through the playing of Taps and even I was quiet and mesmerized

Pop-Pop was born in Detroit Michigan on May 14, 1922. He was born to Kenneth and Harriett Teeple who moved their family to Baltimore when Pop-Pop was 13, after Kenneth accepted a position with the US Fidelity and Guarantee Corporation.

You and Pop-Pop married at 19 and four months later he enlisted in the Navy. He served our country for four years in the Mediterranean Invasions. He was on his way to the Pacific when World War II was declared over and he returned home.

You had four children (in 6 years!) and Pop-Pop faithfully worked for Baltimore Gas and Electric for 40 years. You eventually became the proud Grandparents to 8 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren.

Pop-Pop loved to travel and was an active member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars. He was creative and funny, and enjoyed wood carving and building things. You spent your summers in Ocean City where he meticulously cared for his Grady White, appropriately named "My Dream". Daddy fondly remembers learning how to crab, fish, water ski and cruising the Assawoman Bay aboard the Grady with Pop-Pop. We loved Pop-Pop dearly and will miss him.

Hi Mom-Mom,
There's an amazing water park nestled in the mountains in Virginia with water slides that go on for days! We packed up baby Rory and spent a fun filled week with our cousins in Massanutten.

Hi Mom-Mom,
Rory is almost three weeks old and he is the sweetest. He eats and poops and keeps mom up all night long.
