Subject: Harpers Ferry
Dear Mom-Mom,
To celebrate my first 4th of July, we went on a road trip to Harpers Ferry. Harpers Ferry is where Grand Pop took Grammy on their first date and where a man named John Brown went on a mission to abolish slavery way back when in 1859. We saw the fort where he was captured. Some other important stuff happened in Harpers Ferry and there’s a bunch of old buildings to look at if you’re into that kinda thing. Personally the highlight of the day for me was the grub at Private Quinns Pub. Delicious!
